Craig Brewer is a pretty well-known local filmmaker from Memphis, TN–the director behind Hustle & Flow, Black Snake Moan, and the recent Footloose remake, but before all that, he made a low-budget black & white called The Poor & Hungry, and short called Clean Up in Booth B. Years after their initial screenings, Craig decided to release these films on DVD at Black Lodge Video, and commissioned me to design these 2-color screenrprinted posters. 

This event poster marks the release of Craig's documentary Indie Origins, which looks back at the young filmmakers of the late 1990's that shaped local Memphis-made film, and the birth of the Indie Memphis Film Festival which fostered the rapid growth of the scene.
